Friday Finds: Inexpensive Furniture

Hi friends! For today’s Friday Finds, I found some awesome deals on fashionable furniture pieces and I thought it would be neat to see what they would look like inside a “virtual room.”

I have been looking for a new headboard and stumbled across this beauty from Amazon for $445. That seems a little pricey in general but compared to what most headboards can run you (some in the thousands), this is a really great deal. I love how it’s higher than the standard size and wraps around the edges; it also comes in just about every color imaginable but I really like the ocean blue, very calming and luxurious. Other items in the room: coral pillow: $13 on Amazon, set of 2 Green Pillows: $30 on Amazon, pair of curtains: Amazon for $29, and oh how’d that get there 😉 Chanel painting available in my Etsy shop here.

Knit poufs are my current obsession and I’ve been looking for a couple for my living room but have yet to find an affordable option, until now. There are designer poufs selling for as much as $1,300 each (which is outrageous) but today I found the gray pouf pictured above from Target for just $50 (savings of 96%)! I was so excited about the deal I found that I wanted to see what it would look like in my dream living room.. now if only I could convince the hubby that we need a lilac couch. If you are a crafty diva and have time to knit your own pouf, a free pattern is available here.

By far my favorite find today, the pièce de résistance, is this acrylic chair for just $25 on Amazon!! Correction: These are chairs for a dollhouse haha. I read the reviews and people said “I bought 6 for my dining room and they look great!” Little did I know they were talking about their doll’s dining room. For a very similar chair made for a normal sized human, you can find one here on Amazon for $100. These chairs are so on trend right now and they would look awesome as a pair in a living room, as an office chair, or as a full set around a midcentury table. The great thing about them is that they create the allusion of more space because your eye looks right through them as opposed to a clunky chair that can make a room feel cluttered. Other items in the office: desk (temporarily) for $110 at Target, lamp: $80 on Amazon,  rug: Amazon for $35-$108 depending on size, baroque mirror: $30 at Target, ladder bookshelf: $94 at Target, file cabinet: $150 at Target, and the vase and bowl: IKEA for $15 and $25.

Hope you enjoyed these finds and the “virtual rooms!”
Have a great weekend,
Natalie

P.S. Mouse update: The mouse is back. I don’t have the heart to set up a kill trap so we are just patiently waiting for him to figure out how to get inside the no kill trap. We have tried everything from cheese to peanut butter to lure him in. Jesse is convinced Squeakers has a big family living in the drywall which gives me the heebie-jeebies. We’re hoping this weekend we can block off different paths to force him in to the trap. Wish us luck!

  1. I like that you included bookcase in this decoration. If you have some creativity then you can make your room more stylish by using these kind of items. I have a ladder bookcase at my home. It is really good to have this kind of beautiful ladder bookcase it enhances the beauty of room.
