Friday Favorites: January 18th

Hooray it’s Friday, I felt like it would never get here! To celebrate the upcoming weekend, here are a few of my favorite finds from this week..

Favorite Outfit:
I just bought this snazzy new bowler hat from Dillard’s (for only $8!) and so I had to take her for a spin around town. To create balance, I paired feminine pieces (flowy flower top and delicate jewelry) with masculine pieces (a tailored blazer and men’s watch).

Favorite Room:

This sitting room is to die for! The neutral pallet of the room really lets the pops of pinks and greens stand out. It’s probably a little too feminine for J to agree to but perhaps it could be an inspiration for my future office 😉

Favorite Buy:

I scored these sparkly beauties at Anthropologie for just $21! They were returned and marked down to $30 plus they were doing 30% off sale items so I snatched them up real quick!

Favorite Beauty Item:

This nail polish is one I received in my December Birchbox and the rose/gold metallic color is right on trend for spring, it would go great with the rose/gold Marc Jacobs clutch from Target 😉

Favorite DIY:


I am in love with this DIY clock from P.S. I Made This which was inspired by Marc Jacob’s new insect collection. It’s so unique and you could easily replace the bugs with other small objects like Hotwheel cars (for a boy’s room), seashells, broaches/gems, fake flowers, the possibilities are endless!
