Friday Favorites: September 13

Happy Friday the 13th, friends! I’m always one of those people who doesn’t realize it’s Friday the 13th until the end of the day so nothing ever seems out of the ordinary to me! Hopefully today brought you good luck, if not here’s a little look at my favorites from this week to bring you some good juju.

Favorite DIY:

I remember making dreamcatchers at Girl Scout camp when I was little and I thought they were so magical! This is a grown-up boho version which unfortunately is one of those dead end links from Pinterest. Even without a tutorial I still think this would be really simple to make. Just an embroidery hoop, a doily, thread, and some bits and bobs to weave in!

Favorite Item:

I have a serious problem. I don’t know when it started it how it all began, but somehow I have become a ring dish collector (better than collecting cats I suppose). I just keep buying them because they’re so adorable and I figure, “I’ve gotta have some trinkets laying around that need this dish.” Well I’ve recently added to the collection with this little guy (and how could I not? Look at how adorable it is!!). You can join pick up your own for just $8 at Anthro

Favorite Beauty:

My Hair/Nails board on Pinterest is full of great nail ideas that I’m never going to do because they’re way too intricate. That’s why I’m digging this nail inspiration because it’s pretty simple and you can use just about any color along with the gold.

Favorite Space:

Loving this space from Design Sponge. I love how it has a mix of contemporary pieces with items that look like they have been collected from around the globe (Moroccan poof and old world maps).

Favorite Recipe:

Do you ever have a sudden sweet tooth but don’t want to go through the work of making an entire batch of sweets? Well one of my favorite blogs, Rabbit Food For My Bunny Teeth, shared this yummy (and surprisingly healthy) recipe for a single serving of a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie that’s super quick and easy to make!

Have a great weekend,
Nat
