We woke up this morning and found that our large tree in the backyard decided it was going to drop every last leaf in one night. I still don’t understand it considering it wasn’t that cold and the leaves are still green but hey that’s mother nature for ya. Luckily we only own one rake so I got out of raking duties! Ha!
While Jesse spent the morning raking I played with these two hooligans who were sure excited about the leaves and did their best to help dad by charging through his piles and carrying the leaves throughout the yard.
The weather has been so beautiful and ethereal lately that we have been taking every opportunity to walk the dogs on the path behind our house. Note that none of the other trees lost their leaves – what the heck?
