Valentine’s Day Ideas

Are you ready for Valentine’s Day? Here are some easy ideas to ensure you have a fantastic day with your love bug.

First, I full heartedly recommend staying in and making dinner as a couple. There is nothing worse than having high expectations for a romantic night but end up sitting hungry waiting for a table to open, having dinner in a loud and crowded room, and overpaying for mediocre food. Skip the nonsense and make my easy peasy cheese fondue. For dessert just warm up some chocolate chips over medium heat on the stove and use it as a dip for some of your fav sweets (strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, graham crackers, etc.)

Now for the music. Keep it simple and put your Pandora station to Michael Buble (obvi).

Pull out all the sheets, blankets, and pillows in the house and BUILD A FORT!! I’m so stoked to build a fort and watch movies in it.. brings back memories!

Build your fort around the TV or bring your laptop in and watch some RomCom movies. Our pick is Notting Hill as my momma sent it to us for V-day and Jesse’s never seen it followed by my FAVORITE movie, A Good Year.

Jesse and I don’t do gifts anymore (no stress or pressure) but if you and your love do gifts, here are some ideas all under $25.00
